Nowadays we are bombed with stress, it is everywhere around us. You not safe at work, outside, at home.

You need these Zen Yoga Poses to totally relax you and help you detach from the physical world.

Zen Yoga Poses

These are the most effective Zen Yoga Poses you can practice at home:

Utkatasana – also known as the chair pose. You start it in mountain pose. Now raise your arms and exhale. Bend your knees slowly. Your thighs have to be nearly parallel to the floor. Your torso has to lean slightly forward. Stay in this position from 30 seconds to 1 minute. When you are done, just straighten your knees while you inhale.

Chair Pose

Trikonasana – also known as triangle pose. This pose also starts with Tadasana (mountain pose). Step or jump your feet apart while you exhale. Turn the left foot slightly to the right and the other foot 90 degrees to the right. Turn the right thigh outward and firm your thighs. While you exhale, extend the torso to the right by bending from the hip. Anchor this pose. Rotate the torso to the left. You can rest your hand either on floor, your ankle or shin. The left arm has to be stretched toward the sky. Your gaze has to follow your left arm. You can stay in this pose from 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Trikonasana

Zen Yoga

Uttana Shishosana – also known as extended puppy pose. You start this pose on all fours. While you exhale, you move your buttocks toward your heels, stopping halfway. Your hands has to be stretched. Don’t let the elbows touch the floor. Now drop the forehead to the floor. Your neck must be relaxed. If you want to stretch your spine keep a curve in your lower back. Also press your hands down, without letting your elbows to touch the ground. You can stay in this pose from 30 seconds to one whole minute. To release, just place your buttocks on your heels and raise.

Uttana Shishosana

There many other Zen Yoga Poses such as Ardha Chandasana (half moon pose), Anjaneyasa (crescent pose), Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog pose), Bhujangasana (cobra pose) and many more. These three Zen Yoga Poses that I described are my favorite. They will relax your body and help you let go of all the stress. Try these poses today. Namaste!
