The baby food diet. It basically consists of mashed vegetables and fruits. This diet is not sustainable, because your body does not register that it is full. This can make you feel hungry the whole day, even when you get sufficient calories. Your body can process cooked foods, unlike babies who do not. Therefore, you have no real reason to eat only mashed food.

The military diet. While on this diet you have to follow a highly calorie restrictive meal plan. It allows you a very small selection of foods that you need to eat at fixed hours. However, slashing calories that much can negatively impact your metabolism. While you may lose weight it will definitely be hard to keep it off.

The tapeworm diet. As crazy as it sounds, this diet requires you to ingest a tapeworm! It will feed on the food that you eat and help you to not assimilate calories. Eventually the worm will leave your body through the digestive tract. However, this is an unhealthy diet because it leads to complications and severe side effects.

What is the Most Unhealthy Diet?

The alkaline diet. This diet advises people to avoid meat, fish, grains, eggs, dairy and alcohol. However, this does not allow for much variety. The food you eat can make you feel dizzy, deteriorates your bones and makes you more prone to diseases. The good part about this diet is that it emphasizes eating more fruits and vegetables and eliminating processed foods. Apart from that, it is too restrictive.

All in all, these are the most dangerous diets that you are better off without. Choosing an unhealthy diet is actually worse than not dieting at all, research suggests. Therefore, opt for an eating plan that gives you enough nutrients. Remember: starving yourself is never the solution.
