Your mindset is a set of assumptions, notations and methods that helps you to adopt or accept prior behaviors. Mindset Definition is often described as a mental inertia. Also, it is difficult to counteract its effects in analysis or decision making process. In this moment there are some studies that tries to look for how many types of mindsets exists in people.
Mindset theory in system thinking includes many cultural and social orientation type values. There are two types of mindset. Growth mindset and fixed mindset. You can put any person in one of these two categories. If you have a “fixed mindset”, you should believe that your abilities are mostly innate and interpret failure as a lack of abilities. But if you have a “growth mindset”, you believe that you can acquire any ability to invest in effort or study.
Also, a study from 2004 shown that there are two categories of mindsets in organizations. These are productive mindset and defensive mindset. You can find in one of these two too. They are not linked to the previous ones. If you have a productive mindset you should seek out your valid knowledge which is testable. Also, you can be reasoning transparent. But if you have a defensive mindset, you are more self-protective and self-deceptive. This means you will not share all the informations and you will try to protect them. Also, you may lead to learn false assumptions or prevent learning altogether.
Mindset Definition is a little complicated. You can influence the mindset of people around you. Mindset can influence your relationships, businesses and education. You should try to learn a growth mindset, because it creates motivation and productivity in you. This way you can benefit only of good things in your life!
