Vipassana Meditation – also called the insight meditation. It represents a meditation technique that can help us focus our attention to our body and mind. This meditation can help us live in the present. Without attachment to regrets, fears, images, memories, etc. It uses the method of mindfulness. This way our mind will become cleaner.

Vipassana Meditation teaches us that our happiness or suffering is inside of our mind not in the world that live in. By practicing this meditation daily, we will see that everything is changing. And we will not be attached to material objects and things anymore. Vipassana Meditation connects us with a powerful healing force that will bring balance in our mind, emotions and spirit. This meditation method is entirely based on mindfulness. When you achieve the state of mindfulness, you will observe your life moment to moment. You will focus on the present. And let go all the worries, regrets, fears and sadness the past and the future hide. This way mindfulness can end all of our suffering. It was developed by Buddha and started to expand quickly in Asia and all over the world in many styles. Mindfulness was created to liberate our heart and mind from suffering.

Vipassana Meditation starts with finding calmness and our mind. We can achieve it by practicing presence of mindfulness daily. We have to focus our attention on different aspects of our life. This way we will be concentrated on the experience deeply and live in the present.

This meditation method can be practiced in many ways by sitting, walking and even eating. When we meditate by sitting down, we have to concentrate our attention on our breathing. We have to breath deeply and slowly. We have to feel the physical sensation of breathing. Feeling how the air enters and leaves our body. There is Vipassana Meditation while walking. We have to focus our attention to the movement of our legs. We have to concentrate to the movement of our muscles. Feeling every muscle in our legs while walking. We have also to focus on the sensation of our feet soles touching the ground. We have to feel how our soles role on the ground.

On the other hand, there is the Vipassana Meditation while eating. Our focus point in this meditation method is the sensation of taste. Most of us is used to eat while talking to others or reading or watching something. But if you find a way to eat alone, in quite, you can meditate while eating. You have to concentrate to every taste a food gives you. It can be sweet and sour at the same time. You have to feel it’s texture. This way you will be in the present moment without any big struggles.

Vipassana Meditation is the best to practice and learn mindfulness. We need to practice it everyday for a better life without suffering.
