I really believe that it is very important what we think. Our thoughts are vibrations sending messages into our environment. So, our thought can shape the world around us. There are two types of thoughts, such as constructive or good thoughts and destructive or toxic thoughts. Toxic Thinking can influence our health and even the world around us. If you let your Toxic Thinking to influence your personality, you will face big physical, mental and emotional problems.
Examples of Toxic Thinking
I have to prove that I am right – this toxic thought can get you in many of stressful situations. If you stop putting so much effort in proving that you are right, you will not become weak, but you will spear yourself a very stressful event.
I don’t want to be judged – caring about what others think about you will do only bad things to yourself. You have to love yourself as you are, don’t become somebody that you are not, only to please others. You have to stop judging yourself. Become the person you always wanted to be and stop caring about what others think about you.
I am a victim – this is one of the most popular type of Toxic Thinking. Thinking that you are a victim is not ok. You are not a victim of others’ actions, your life that you live in is the direct result of your own actions. So stop crying and start to take responsibility for your own actions. If you feel that your life is not as you wanted it to be, then you are the only one to blame.
He/She will complete me – no, he/she will not complete you if you are in ruins. You have to start loving yourself and your life. You are complete and whole alone, you don’t need a soulmate to be complete. So start moving, clean up and start building the life you always dreamed of. The only person that can change your life is you.
My life is ruined because of my past – Stop living in the past. You have to realize that you can’t change your past, but you can choose to stop letting it influence your present and future. You can have a better life and you can become a better person starting in this moment, the past is over, you have a beautiful life to live.
There are other Toxic Thinking types. Maybe you think that you can change others, or you expect too much from others, maybe you don’t appreciate what you have now because you are always waiting for something better. These thoughts will slowly ruin your life, if they didn’t do it yet. Start a new life by transforming these toxic thoughts into positive ones. Start loving yourself and your life.
