The Best Vegan Pizza Dough Recipe
We all love pizza. But many vegan-pizzas are made with basic dough. So why you don’t try this Vegan Pizza Dough for a tastier pizza? These are very easy to prepare. Also, if you want to prepare more dough you can do it. Then, simply freeze it. You can freeze these doughs for up to a month.
For the first dough recipe, you will only need 1 cup of warm water, 2 ½ teaspoons of dry yeast, 3 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and salt to taste. Try to follow these quantities as much as you can for a better dough. Also, you can do the dough with a stand mixer or by hand. Combine the flour with sea salt in a large mixing bowl and stir well. After this, combine the dry yeast with the warm water and pour it over the flour mix. Turn and repeat until the dough is silky and elastic. This can take about 10 minutes.
In the stand put the flour and the salt in it and then combine the warm water with the dry yeast. Pour the water over the flour and turn machine to low speed. Let it like that for 1-2 minutes. After this, switch to medium speed and mix for 5 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Gradually add extra flour for dough to lose its stickiness.
Once you have the dough, you have to wait about one hour for the dough to rise properly. It is better to keep the dough in your kitchen where the temperature is about 68–75°F (20–24°C).
This Vegan Pizza Dough is perfect for one big pizza (about 16 inch). But if you want more small pizzas you can cut it in half for 2 9-12 inch pizza.
