Reiki Meditation is a meditation method that uses the reiki energy flow. Before we start the guide for Reiki Meditation, we need to define a few words like reiki and chakras. Reiki is an energy healing method that uses the unconditional love, life force or energy. Chakras are energy “wheels” inside of our body. There 7 important chakras that need periodical cleansing and energizing.
Reiki Meditation: How to start?
First you have to find a great reiki music or relaxation music. It needs to be quiet and relaxing. When you have found the song, you can start the relaxation process. Sit down in a comfortable position. You can lay down if you want, but be careful not to fall asleep. Or you can stay in the lotus position.
Focus on your breath. Take deep and slow breaths. Focus on your lungs. Breath in through your nose and breath out through your mouth. This breathing method will start to relax your mind. Try to make your breath as deep as you can. When your mind is relaxed, you have to relax your body. Start from head to toes or reverse. Focus on the first organ, let’s choose the legs, feel how relaxed they are getting. Repeat it for your abdomen, chest, hands, shoulders, neck, face, ears, skin of the head, etc.
Now reverse the way you breathe. Breathe in through your mouth and breathe out through your nose.
Now visualize the energizing of every chakra. Imagine a white or golden ball embracing every chakra, step by step. Start with the crown chakra. The ball is pure energy, the unconditional love. It energizes and purifies your chakras. Continue with the third eye chakra, throat chakra, and so on. When you are done with the chakras, it’s time for the next step.
Now visualize the ball of energy spreading into your aura. See how your aura fills with love and starts to expand. This is the phase when your body and chakras are fully energized.
Stay in this relaxed state as long as it feels comfortable. When you are ready to return from the Reiki Meditation, start to feel your organs one by one. Open your eyes. Stay in the same pose a few minutes, then slowly get up. Stretch your body if you feel the need to.
This Reiki Meditation is very easy and very effective. If you introduce it into your life, your body will become more healthy. You will be less stressed and more happy. The beautiful state of bathing in pure unconditional love fills you with joy, happiness and self-love.
