  • 5 pounds of organic celery, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

First of all, heat up the olive oil in a large skillet. Throw in the celery and then cook it for about 2 minutes. Add in the flour and then sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can also add the condiments at the end. Cook like this for 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the water then bring to a boil. Now lower the heat and cook until the celery becomes tender. Using a blender or a fork, mash it up. You will be the judge of the consistency you need.

Vitamins and nutrients. These are extremely important for a growing baby. One of the reasons why so many people use it in salads it because of its vitamin content. When you eat it raw it has more nutrients than the cooked variety. However, you need to cook it, otherwise it poses a choking hazard for your little one.

Antioxidants. Apart from vitamins and minerals, celery also has antioxidants. By giving this food to your baby regularly, you ensure that they have a strong immune system. This will protect them against various diseases and damage from free radicals.
