Brown rice. As the less-refined brother of the white rice, it has a low glycemic intake and helps reduce insulin spikes. It is a healthy Chinese alternative rich in selenium, manganese and naturally occurring oils. These vitamins team up to reduce the risk of impending common illnesses, with benefits on both our nervous and reproductive systems. It also promotes weight loss by means of regulating digestion, due to its high fiber intake.

The good thing about these healthy Chinese foods is that they are available all year-round. There are so many alternatives that you can choose from. Your meals will never be dull again. To all these add spices, such as garlic or ginger and also sprinkle them with the delicious soy, oyster or sweet and sour sauces.
