Habits And Contradictions – This is not yet another article telling you that your habitual actions are bad. And that you need to quit some of your habits in order to be more skinny, more energized, more well-liked. No, this article aims to point out the power of habit and what is the motivation between the things we do.

Starting from the premise that habits chosen actions, we can easily say that the power of habit is the driver of our lives. Each and every one of us has a personal routine: from the time we get up in the morning to well late in the evening, when we go to bed.

So the question that arises here is: are we even still aware of how are lives unfold and do we make decisions consciously? Or is it just a routine, an accepted power of habit? Because once you’ve stopped to analyze the sheer force behind your actions, you will start to see everything more clearly.

Habits And ContradictionsTo put it more simply, you are the car. Your everyday routine is the fuel. Your everyday routine makes up in time a power of habit, which is the propellant energy. If your life is abundant in good habits, they will help run the machinery smoothly. The tank will be fully-fueled, the filters won’t clog, the breaks will work and the windshield will remain clean. In contrast, the bad habits will cause problems, even if in the beginning the car will still run smoothly. After some miles it will start to break down. When your car breaks down, you don’t go and buy another one, you repair it, you give it a boost.

So why not break the habit? Your body is a given and you must treat it with both respect and love. You will say that there are too many influences, that you are comfortable with the way in which the things are, that it won’t affect you too much, or that you will be able to break the power of habits that chains you; these are, oftentimes just excuses and ways in which you won’t have to step out of your comfort zone.

Keep in mind that there is always room for improvement. That all your life is a trial and error period. That only you are the one who can take control of your life. If you make a plan and stick to it (with the occasional bumps and hiccups) not only will the quality of your life improve, but you will be a better and happier person.
