Many of us suffers from allergies. There are multiple causes for them, such as: pollen, dust, food, medications and animal dander. It is very uncomfortable for you to live with an allergy. But you can use Essential Oils to Help with Allergies. There are a few essential oils that relief allergic reactions:
Peppermint Oil can unclog the sinuses and offer relief to scratchy throats. Peppermint acts as a good expectorant and provides relief for allergies. A study published in the European Journal of Medical Research suggests that peppermint oil treatment has anti-inflammatory effects. Also, it reduces the symptoms of chronic inflammatory disorders provoked by bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Essential Oils to Help with Allergies
Basil Oil has amazing anti-inflammatory responses for allergens. Also, supports the adrenal gland, which involves producing of over 50 hormones. This oil rushes the blood to your brain and relaxes heart and muscles. This oil supports the respiratory system if it is applied to the chest and back of the neck. Dilute 2-3 drops of basil oil in a carrier oil before applying it!
Lemon Oil helps overcoming almost all respiratory conditions. Studies shown that lemon oil boosts the immune system and inhibits the growth of bacteria. Furthermore, this oil can be used for massage and to clean the air. You can add 1-2 drops of this oil in a glass of water and drink it. Furthermore, you can mix 2-3 drops of this oil with a carrier oil and apply to your chest. Also, you can put 10 drops if lemon oil in a big spray bottle and spray your clean clothes, couches, curtains and carpets.
You can use Essential Oils to Help with Allergies in many types depending on your allergy. But, if you suffer from food allergies, you can take 2 drops of lemon oil diluted in one glass of water. For the seasonal allergies add few drops of peppermint oil in a spray container and spray your house with it.
