Garlic makes a perfect addition to almost any dish. It not only tantalizes your taste buds but it also offers a unique flavor to your meat or vegetables. In addition to improving the quality of the food, it also offers lots of health benefits. Therefore, why not take advantage and make a creamy garlic dressing? It goes extremely well with salads and meats. Here is how you can make it:

  • ¼ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of minced onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For all of those people that mind their diet, this creamy garlic dressing is for you. You will definitely fall in love with this recipe. We all know how great vegetables are and struggle to include them in our diet. However, it should not be a struggle to eat healthy! Salads are delicious, therefore work a little bit to make them taste great.

First of all, take a small saucepan and combine the vinegar, water, onion and garlic inside. Simmer until the onion and garlic become tender. This will take about 5 minutes. Stir in the mayonnaise, sour cream and then season with salt and pepper to taste.  Refrigerate the dressing for about 2 hours before you serve it.

What is amazing about this dressing is the fact that you can’t get enough of it. When you drizzle it over your salad, you get a dish you won’t be able to stop eating. Prepare it a few hours before you start serving it, because you have to refrigerate it. Trust me, the wait is worth it. When you see how thick and creamy it is, you will be licking your fingers in anticipation. You can even use it with steaks, not only with salads. Garlic goes well with lots of dishes.
