Starbucks Who? 3 Coconut Milk Drink Recipes

Starbucks recently announced that stores across the US would offer coconut milk as a vegan option for their drinks. However, while this is amazing, not all of us are fans of the franchise. While they do have vegan options, there is still the problem of calories and additives. Luckily for you, you don’t have to depend on them to get your fix. Here are 3 amazing coconut milk drink recipes you can make at home.

Put all of the ingredients into a small saucepan and then bring it to a simmer. Turn it off the heat and let it steep for 5 minutes. Strain it into mugs and top with some ground cinnamon.

Mexican Horchata. This Mexican-style horchata is the best. Cinnamon-y, vanilla-y goodness combined to perfection to make a velvety coconut-milk and almond mixture.

All you need to do for this one is to blanch some almonds, and soak some rice in water overnight. Blend your rice with the almonds into water or milk. Add sugar and then strain everything through a cloth.
