This baked meatball recipe is fast and easy to do and it goes great with spaghetti or even on its own. For a hearty dinner, add them into your spaghetti sauce and we guarantee that your whole family will be pleased.baked meatball recipe


  • ½ pound of ground pork meat
  • ½ pound of ground lamb
  • 5 ounces of frozen spinach
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of dried parsley
  • ½ cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp of dried basil
  • 1 tsp of kosher salt
  • ½ tsp of red pepper flakes

Baked Meatball Recipe

First of all, begin by heating up your oven to 200 degrees F. Take the bread crumbs and place them into a small bowl along with the egg, ground pork meat and ground lamb. Add the salt, red pepper flakes and the basil, parsley, cheese and frozen spinach. Using your hands, mix everything together for a couple of minutes until all the ingredients are incorporate together.

Secondly, scoop out a bit of the mixture and then form small balls using your hands. Place them onto a sheet pan or a cutting board in the meantime. Heat up a bit of butter or olive oil into a pan over medium-high heat and then fry the meatballs until they are golden brown. You will have to work in batches until all of them are cooked. When you finished, remove them using a slotted spoon and place them onto a baking pan.

Place them into the oven and cook them for 20 minutes, turning them around a couple of times during the process. Remove from the pan and then serve however you desire. This baked meatball recipe goes well with a variety of other dishes, from spaghetti to mashed potatoes.
