Due to daily practice, you awaken the the sleeping kundalini Shakti (or the snake). And arouse it from the coiled base through the 6 chakras. Until it, finally, enters the 7th chakra. The kundalini travels and the main pranic channels of our body to get to the crown chakra.

Meditation is often used in Kundalini Yoga to bring the awareness to our body. We have to achieve complete body awareness. This awareness prepares our body, mind and spirit to the rise and travel of the kundalini in our body.
